About the books…

The Life of Sir Dunstan Pigglesworth

A true story told through poetry and pictures to support families through grief.

When Dunstan the piglet meets his Person, he knows he’s landed on his trotters. Together, they grow and change as they search for their perfect home.

With his twilight years approaching, Dunstan is delighted to see his companion find her soulmate and announce her pregnancy. But when Dunstan dies before Baby is born, his best friend is left to contemplate her grief; ultimately comforted by the memories they made together.

With a language style to be enjoyed by both adults and children, this book is written to bring comfort to readers and listeners age 4 and up.

The Ballad of the Bunny and Other Poems: The Diary of a Car Crash and Beyond

In May 2020, Catherine Hannah’s drive to work ended in a broken neck, brain injury and PTSD.

Facing the loss of her career, relationships and self identity, Catherine began to examine her fluctuating emotions through the filter of poetry. Left in diary form, the result is a chronological exploration of her changing attitudes towards her diagnoses and her new life.

Those struggling with the impacts of road trauma may relate to Catherine’s response to rehabilitation, legal proceedings and the return to driving; whilst those shouldering trauma of any kind may be familiar with the fear, anger and resentment she encounters. This poetry collection reaches beyond the pain into the little victories and the love that can be found in the lonliest of places. There is hope.

You are not alone.
